Akhenaten

Akhenaten, was a pharaoh of the 18th dynasty of Egypt, who reigned for 17 years, between 1353 BC and 1336 BC. He is remembered for abandoning traditional Egyptian polytheism and introducing a worship centered on a single god, Aton, the solar disk. His reign ended with his death, and traditional religion was gradually restored. However, Akhenaten's legacy lives on, as a period of great transformation and innovation in Egypt's history.
