This model was designed to teach students the theory of flight. In order to teach students about the common control surfaces elevators were added to the horizontal stabilizers as the F35 has stabilators. It is a combination of the carrier based F-35C and the F-35B. The wings, stabilizers, ailerons, flaps and rudders are thicker for the hinges.
