Dispense any cylinder your heart desires, within reason of course! Tested and works well for rechargable batteries, chapsticks and even marbles (11mm diam).
Hardware Required:2 x M3 6mm screws2 x Mounting screws1 or 2 x Hairties or Rubberbands, depending all on the size of cylinder you would like to dipense
Printing Settings:No supports, Lots of bridging. Print the main part with its mounting holes up in the air, and the slider with the chamfer side down. PLA works best for bridging in my expirience.
Parametric Settings:Default model will dispense AA Batteries, but you can update the dimensions of the cylinder to suit your needs. Editing the .f3d in Fusion 360 will allow you to change certain parameters like cylinder diameter, length, and the number of cylinders. (only change cylLength, cylDiamUnitless, and numCylinders. It says unitless but it is in mm*)
Assembly:First thread band through a hole on one side of the main model, and loop band around the outer catch. You can now determine where to put the M3 screws in the slider depending on how much tension you need. For the default AA battery print, I only used one hairtie, and looped it around both catches on both sides, using an M3 screw in the slider to somewhat attach the slider to the hairtie. In larger versions, you may need more than one band, or different sizes. An M3 screw is needed, even if you decide not to loop one end of a band around it.
