This model was designed for the Microsoft/CGTrader collaboration challenge. The features of this test model include:-Slopes to check layer smoothness-Holes of different sizes to check accuracy at different resolutions-Embossed text (CGTRADER) to check fonts-Horizontal flat planes to check smoothness over long distances-1mm thick walls to check dimensional accuracy with thin areas-3 different types of bridging, included radiused, chamfered and flat styles to check "float" (over thin areas)-A large hole to check for larger dimensional accuracy over a larger surface area-Internal small radiuses to check small movements of print head-A square internal pocket to check flatter corners than a circle.
As a bonus, this square pocket area was designed to hold a USB stick. This means that instead of just having a blob of "test part" plastic to throw away, you have a test part that functions as a practical item. This should create more desire to print the test part as it has this added functionality.
