Description

This model was designed for the Microsoft/CGTrader collaboration challenge. The features of this test model include: -Slopes to check layer smoothness -Holes of different sizes to check accuracy at different resolutions -Embossed text (CGTRADER) to check fonts -Horizontal flat planes to check smoothness over long distances -1mm thick walls to check dimensional accuracy with thin areas -3 different types of bridging, included radiused, chamfered and flat styles to check "float" (over thin areas) -A large hole to check for larger dimensional accuracy over a larger surface area -Internal small radiuses to check small movements of print head -A square internal pocket to check flatter corners than a circle.

As a bonus, this square pocket area was designed to hold a USB stick. This means that instead of just having a blob of "test part" plastic to throw away, you have a test part that functions as a practical item. This should create more desire to print the test part as it has this added functionality.
