Front Cab Addons for Transformers Generations Select Star Convoy Free 3D print model

After the treads were done for this piece, another common followup request was to have a little something for the front cab. Well then, here's the result of that!

These pieces fit into the little rectangular holes on the front of the cab snuggly (where the side panels peg into when transformers). The set in the photos were 3d printed in a red filament which wasn't an exact color match, but it can definitely be painted to be a closer shade of red to everything else.

Coming to the bot mode, it wouldn't do if these had to be taken off and tossed aside, so these pieces double up as missile pods to be pegged on top of the two shoulder canons! Since the shoulder canons swivel, these can be pointed in any direction of your choice.

Playing around with this a little more, realized it can have a different look if pegged backwards so that their canon barrels point backwards and out of the way. Here's how that looks:

The inside of these addons also sport two 5mm ports each, which give the option to peg more bits on if you like.

[30 Sept Update]

Had some great feedback and thoughts about it being slightly weird to have these missile pods on Star Convoy's shoulders, and suggestions if they could be mounted elsewhere.

Yes, definitely makes sense to do so! And to achieve this, the rear port holes have been slightly enlarged to allow for these pieces to peg onto his forearms:

This allows his iconic shoulder canons to remain obscured while maintaining maximum firepower!

Got a little more feedback about how the pieces could pop off a little easily if the dimensions of the 3d printed part isn't too tight. So, made some changes in adding two pegs to snap the sides together and an bottom hook to latch around the underside of the front bumper:
