This model was designed in a low poly style to print without any supports and fold easily into a pokeball that has a glossy finish straight from the printer.
You can hide something in it and gift it to someone. You can use it as a box or choose the files that have holes in the top and hang it as an ornament on the Christmas tree.

PRINTER SETTINGS The one in the pictures was printed at a 0.2 mm layer height using Fillamentum PLA filament. Total print time 3.5 hours. Theoretically it should bend easier if you use a more flexible filament like PETG but PLA worked just fine for me. Printing settings will vary greatly depending on your specific printer. The joint of the two halves is the weakest point as it bends a full 180° so I might add a hinge to it in the future (it broke twice out of ten prints).
SCALE At 100% scale the pokeball is the size of a baseball (74 mm tall) and the longest dimension printed flat is 133.2 mm. You can scale it a bit up or down but the walls might get too thin for your printer if you don't have a thinner nozzle.
This model was created by Filip from our 3Demon team. It is fan-made, we are not affiliated with the Pokémon company.
