Pythagorean Cup-Greedy Cup

Pythagorean Cup-Greedy Cup Free 3D print model

Description

This is the Pythagorean Cup. Originally invented by Pythagoras, this cup has a trick! The drinker may only put a certain amount of a drink into the cup at a time. Up to a certain amount it will work fine. If the drinker becomes greedy and adds too much, all of the drink will pour out of the hole at the bottom of the cup. Not only the extra amount that the drinker put in, but ALL OF THE DRINK!

Printing Details: Print as is. If your printer can't print something this tall, you can remove the bottom of the glass (the handle) using CAD or a Slicer, and either print it separately or not print the bottom portion. You only need the top cup-shaped piece for it to function. IMPORTANT: If you do print the top and bottom separately, you have to glue them so that the hole lines up. Make sure to not put any glue in the hole or it may clog.

Supports: Do NOT use! The supports will clog the mechanism and it may not function. Raft/Brim/Skirt: Not Required.
