Description

In the moment Vase 3

This one I made to test a new printer. It came out very nice so therefore I share it.Printed on a FDM printer using the “Spiral Outer Contour Mode in Cura.

The Yellow one is printed 200% normal size. This did not work with a 0.4mm Nozzle because it warped. With a 0.8mm Nozzle it did work so you can see on the Photo'sThe smaller one on the Photo's is printed 100% size using a 0.4mm Nozzle

At 100% size the dimensions are 139,528mm by 139,011mm and 228,249mm high.

Feel free to ask any questions :-)

Why does this have infill inside the entire vase??? It is a beautiful design. I wanted to use it as a vase but it's just a knick-knack.

You have to use the “Spiral Outer Contour Mode" in you slicer program. This special mode only prints the outer contour of the object in just one line ( and 0% infill). This make the Vase hollow. You can also use the settings 0% infill, 1 wall line, 3 bottom layers, 0 top layers. I hope this helps you a bit
