Could this be used in a bowl with other decorative balls to be placed on my coffee table in my living room? If so, this would be really cute I think.

Hi. Thanks for commenting. If you cut this model in half with a boolean cut or by some other means, then it certainly could have that type of purpose. You would need to boolean a base on the bottom to stabilize it from tipping over, but it could be done in a few steps using boolean operations in any capable 3d software package. Of course, you'll need to scale it up to a suitable size as well.
