Eddie Van Halens Frankenstrat guitar

Eddie Van Halens Frankenstrat guitar Free 3D model

Description

This 3D model was originally created with Sketchup 6 and then converted to all other 3D formats. Native format is .skp 3dsmax scene is 3ds Max 2016 version, rendered with Vray 3.00 This was the first stage of Eddie Van Halen's Frankenstrat guitar. This was before he applied red paint to it, cut down the pickguard and installed a Floyd Rose tremolo. This was the stage the guitar was in when the first Van Halen album was recorded. It was definitely tougher to keep in tune before the Floyd Rose was installed. Back then he used a brass nut that he would put vaseline in the string slots to keep the strings from binding up in the slots when he used the tremolo. This would make the guitar stay in tune more often...The cigarette didn't help much though!
