Brigalow communities generally re-sprout well after fire, except for softwood scrubs, which are more densely populated. The Brigalow Belt covers an area of 6 million ha. and has been divided into 165 different regional ecosystems, that host a large variety of often endangered native fauna. Origin : Northeast Australia (Queensland, New South Wales).
