This is my first time uploading a model to CGTrader.
Introduction:This model was made with Blender version 2.90 from scratch, and all of the preview images were rendered by Cycles engine. The chair is made up of 5 objects in total, all are separated and parented to an empty named Control in the main blend file. Here are some details about the geometry:
- Vertices: 25,802
- Edges: 51,532
- Faces/Polygons: 25,766
- Triangles: 51,532
The 5 parts of the chair are:
- Base
- Chair
- Chair Support
- Chrome Edges
- Hand Rest
Materials: A picture for the chrome and world materials are included. Chrome material is used for Chrome Edges and Hand Rest objects. World material uses an HDR, which is included in the files. Other objects have a simple principled BSDF shader.
blend files and exports: There are two blend files and 3 exports, here is a description for each:
- 3 seater chair studio.blend: This is the main blend file. It contains the 5 objects with its modifers unapplied. It also contains the studio setting where the preview images were rendered. All of the chair objects are parented to an empty named Control.
- 3 seater chair.blend: This is the secondary blend file. It contains the 5 objects of the chair with its modifers applied (The subdivision surface modifer was set to 2). All of the objects are parented to the Base. The chair is scaled to real world size.
- FBX, glb and collada formats: Modifiers are applied.
