Presidential Blue Goose lectern

Presidential Blue Goose lectern Free 3D model

Description

This 3D model was originally created with Sketchup 8 and then converted to all other 3D formats. Native format is .skp 3dsmax scene is 3ds Max 2016 version, rendered with Vray 3.00 Nicknamed the 'Blue Goose', this lectern has become synonymous with the many formal speeches given over the course of a presidency. The lectern is rumored to be bulletproof and weighs several hundred pounds.

To ensure accuracy I used a myriad of readily available photos, as well as my own recollections of the many times I was fortunate enough to use the lectern (Don't I wish!). The model includes the Shure SM57 [Many, many thanks to Merelin for the basic model] type microphones that are actually used on the lectern, the hook-on presidential seal [Many thanks to TarikS for his basic (and fantastic) model of Air Force One) the sliding bar on the dictation surface, the removable step, the malt-box vents on the side of the stand, and more.

I'll update the model as new photographs of the lectern become available.

Please, enjoy the model and rate/review accordingly.
