When complete standing at 118m tall, it was the third tallest building in Europe. It was the tallest building outside London for 43 years, until Birmingham's 'Holloway Circus Tower' was built in 2006. The current tallest building in England, but outside London is Manchester's 'Beetham Tower', built in 2006 standing at 157m high.
