Vostell Malpartida Museum was founded in October 1976 by Wolf Vostell (Leverkusen 1932 Berlin, 1998), hispanoalemán internationally renowned artist, a key figure in contemporary art postwar person closely linked to Extremadura from his marriage to Mercedes Guardado Olivenza. It located three kilometers from the village center of Malpartida de Caceres (Extremadura, Spain), and 14 kilometers from Cáceres capital. It is accessed from the N-521 road towards Valencia de Alcantara Portugal to reach the center town of Malpartida de Caceres, from where to take the road of wool laundry to the south.
