Description

The "Temple of Diana" probably stood straddling the first and second centuries AD It is located in the center of the present village. It is a temple in the Roman Forum and dedicated to the imperial cult. It is períptero and hexastyle plant with 41 by 22 meters, built in stone granito.Es a sumptuous building that rises on a high rectangular podium surrounded by columns, six on the front and eleven on each side, with Corinthian capitals who once they were stuccoed. Leveraging its structure was built in the sixteenth century, the palace of the Count of CORBA, which can be seen a double gallery with arches, windows and doors. Next to the temple was a sacred space, landscaped with pond.
