Free 3D Model of London - Sample of AccuCities Level 2 Model Free 3D model

This 0.25 km2 (500 x 500 meters) sample tile covers Southwark / London Bridge area and includes large part of London Bridge Station, London Bridge and The Shard. It is intended to be used to evaluate our Level 2 3D model of London but feel free to use this sample in any non-commercial project.

Our Level 2 3D Model of London is an accurate but lightweight model of London, made from fully licensed 2016 aerial imagery using manual stereo photogrammetry. Level 2 3D Models are accurate to 50 cm in all axis. Buildings are captured with correct roof shapes of main structures with only small features such as chimneys, parapet walls and dormer windows omitted. Terrain is accurate to 20 cm and separated into land use categories. Trees locations (captured with correct height and canopy width) are also included. The extents of this city block corresponds to OS National Grid.

Level 2 3D models are mostly used with our Base 3D Model of London https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/exterior/cityscape/large-london-city-model-25-square-kilometres when artists / architects / planners require more detail and accuracy and use Base 3D Model of London for backgrounds.

The 3D Model is fully modular with our Base Model and higher detail 3D Models of London. If you require wide area 3D Model of London, please take a look at the Base Model samples. If you require more detail and accuracy, please take a look at our Level 2 or Level 3 Models. For specific buildings where facade detail is required we can provide or custom capture Level 4 Models. Our Level 4 Sample includes Level 4 model of The Shard.

The 3D Model of London has previously been used for various projects such as planning, architecture, CGI visulizations, News and TV production and even for wind modelling and drone navigation simulations. It is fully licensed for non-commercial projects and for testing / trials / evaluation - we are really keen to see what you guys can do with these free 3D Model of London sample - do send us your WIPs, renders and tests!

The sample can be downloaded as AutoCad solid .DWG, SketchUp .SKP, or FBX files.
