Description
My recreation of Gali Nuva from the film Bionicle: Mask of Light. The model is 100% custom, made from scratch, and intended for use by the Bionicle community in their creations.

I haven't started yet, but I do have plans to do exactly what you just described. I partered up with Rothanak to make 3D printable kanohi that are compatible with the original sets (you can find it in the downloads of this page), but high-polys of the full models will take a bit more time, since many details of the models were done through textures.
