This project is a reimagination and adaptation of the IE Paper Pavilion in Madrid, a paper structure building using wooden nodes, designed by Shigeru Ban in 2013. The pavilion was made to be a temporary structure, efficiently designed and easily built.
This model focus was put into the details of the structure :
The model contains a square based structure, using the same wood/paper system on a framework of 1,60mx1,60m, under a sloped roof of 7°. I wanted to go a little larger with that structure, and it ended up taking the form of a small open air dojo. I included a display of the singular structural elements separately (imagine them before they were assembled). The textures used are in a zip file accessible too.
3D model caracteristics
The native model was made in Sketchup 2020, using a lot of component naming and groups to work more efficiently. Textures were applied using the Enscape renderer, all most of the preview come from Enscape 3.4 as well.
I tried to make exports of the 3d model by regrouping some of the smaller elements but the file remains quite large in pieces count. Exports contain :
Feedbacks from you about those export formats would be appreciated as it is quite difficult to achieve the same efficiency from the native software once exported.

Thank you for watching, Also, thank you for using sustainable and ecological materials in your 3d models, thinking of the planet
