This door, though farily basic, can be used in various different situations to bring life to your animations and renders. It can be used as a common, wooden industrial door, a hospital door, a school door, or whatever else you think it best fits.
It comes in two basic file types: FBX, and OBJ. The FBX file comes with a small, simple, yet effective rig system to enable easier control of opening and closing around the door hinges. Two custom leaf bones have been added to ensure bone length is sufficient, though they serve no real purpose outside of that. The OBJ file has no rig system, but all objects pivot points have been set to the door hinge to ensure proper door rotation when opening/closing.
This door comes with custom diffuse, normal, metallic, roughness, and transmission maps, all contained in the texture file.
The majority of the polygon/vertice count comes from the screws on all parts of the door. An effort was made to keep them as low poly as possible, so as to conserve CPU usage, while also retaining a basic circular shape from afar. If less polygons are required, the screws are seperate objects, and can easily be deleted.
Almost all of the UVs are non-overlapping, with the exception of the main door frame itself. All sides of the door use overlapping UVs to preserve texture shape/look, though if necessary, this can always be moved around, while still preserving a similar look.
Enjoy your new door!
