Description

So this is another project where I am trying something I've never did before.

This time its more some kind of smooth model with fast texturing (basically just 5 minutes of texturing).

Model created in ZBrush and has working mtl for the 42k poly model this time.

There are three versions:

normal version:

  • has a total count of 42,047 polygons
  • textured (with substance painter 2)

low-poly (polished) version 1.1.0:

  • has a total count of 14,948 polygons (I named it 15k poly version though)
  • polished (rectangular UVs), retopologized
  • slight optimizations for ingame usage
  • textured with Substance Painter 2 (2048x2048)

NOTE: this lowpoly version is an UPDATE. Before it was a 14k poly model but with siginificant drawbacks in compariosn to this version. Also it wasnt textured.
Also I've made the .mtl file work, too. Please note though, that it is only the dif map that is in there. The spc etc are not in the material. You have to do that by yourself.

If there are any suggestions for this in terms of improvements, file formats etc, please let me know.

original version:

  • has a total count of 255,410 polygons
  • not uv-mapped
  • not textured
  • eyes and body are seperate .obj files
  • included in normal- and low-poly version in a different folder in the ZIP file

You may use this model for anything you want, as long as you (if possible) properly credit me (also see !ReadME.txt file in the ZIP)
This one didn't take so long, it was basically because I didn't had any idea and then tried doing something like this.
Note that the textured version just exists because I wanted to render in Substance Painter 2 and found out that its pretty easy to make a quick texture with that model, so I included it.

So far I will probably create a posed, new textured and detailed 3D-print version of this (for free).
I don't know when or if I am going to do this, just check my profile for that. There are other free 3d models, too.

Hope you like my meep ;3
Cheers =)
