Delta wing type slope soarer somewhat inspired by the always mysterious stealth aircraft. This is a plane i designed in the late 80's and it flew absolutely brilliantly straight off the drawing board [dont laugh..., in those days it really was a great big draughting table to get the job done].
If you look at the thick wing root you will see that it is strong and capable of flying nice and slowly with a very vigerous roll rate. Originally i moulded the Fuzz out of GRP and the wing was EPS with a .6mm sapele mahogany veneer. The veneer was held down with latex glue applied to the wing core with a flat plastic paddle. This model here has been redrawn in solidworks using the old and somwhat battered remains of the original plane and i have now made the Fuzz out of correx [3mm corrugated plastic] using the sheetmetal functionality of solidworks. The wing core remains EPS though it will now be covered with layers of brown paper and aliphatic resin glue.Man this plane is FUN!
