I suggested that CGTrader should put up a pop-up or include some sort of basic rules when uploading, but that hasn't been implemented. The uploading rules aren't apparent and the same thing happened to me, until I found the rules. Also, when your model gets suspended, there is no email, or message as to why it was suspended. They could even put a link to the actual uploading guidelines, but they don't.

How hard would it be to put a pop-up or info screen "Your model was suspended because it didn't meet CGTraders guidelines noted here...."?

Pop-up (no matter what content) is bad manners in web design. Uploader has a link to the Help Center section on publishing models. In addition, in the footer of the site there is a link to the main page of the Help Center. Searching for information about weapon models takes a few seconds.

jaguarbeastproduction,
Obviously few do searches because this question comes up here quite a bit. There is plenty of whitespace on the upload section, where they could put a bullet point of "No printable guns allowed".
