Setup hdri in Substance Painter to match wildcat viewer

Discussion started by al3xxxgm

Hi. I use hdri map that the wildcat team provided in SP, but result is different in SP and in online viewer. And every time It's like a lottery with guessing tint of diffuse map. Tell me how to setup SP correctly, please.

Just drag the HDRI Image into the environment folder from the folder they are in and voila! I kinda wish the folder structure was a little better and things were in their correct folder. Like my HDRI's don't belong in my alpha folder

Yes, I know how to add it. The question is how to set up it correctly. It looks different inside SP: too dark and low contrast. Maybe someone has the exact settings?

Have you found a way yet? I'm on the same boat and it's very very time consuming to guess the right values... they're never the same as the viewer. Substance and blender look the same, even marmoset, but the viewer is always darker and dull.

What I notice, AR viewer on Wildcat has some weird metallic looking. Even there's no metallic value on the material..
