For me, it's low-poly, game-ready models that sell the best. I guess it differs from style to style though. I make medieval models and they're more suited to game-devs than say, 3D printers.
hello i wonder which kind of models peoples buy more high poly and realistic or printable models?

Thanks, for your first question, that depends. I have models across CG/ Turbo/Shapeways/Cults/RenderHub/3DExport/ Sketchfab and several more. This isn't my main source of income as I am freelance and contract out to game studios, my leftovers or unused assets go on those sites. I'm also an author so I need some sort of steady income haha
High quality? Or high poly? According to analytics, characters are a big search option. I've always avoided making them because so many others do, and when the market is flooded with something you should always ignore it.
What I believe you should do is select a style and stick with it. A genre of your own. If you're good at making windows, for instance, make 100 windows. Play to your strengths. Making the right thing at the right time is just not possible unless you have had a request. I've had a model on Sketchfab for more than 2 years that no one ever even viewed lol, this week, it sold...patience is the key! Good luck.
