There are still a few days to submit your projects for animago AWARD & CONFERENCE

Knowing CGTrader community, its eagerness to participate in various competitions (our recent PBR challenge received 824 entries - isn’t this a great achievement?) and openness to sharing the expertise with fellow designers, we are now inviting those whose profile stem beyond modelling to join animago AWARDS & CONFERENCE. The event is celebrating its 21th edition, so this seems to be a good platform to share your digital artworks whether it is 3D animation, visual effects, visualization and digital art. Everyone around the globe is invited to join free of charge before June 19th on animago website.

This year artists can compete for prizes in eleven categories and we are pretty sure that our community should take a careful look at least at a few: Best Still, Best Young Production (with 3000 EUR in cash prize sponsored by Digital Production), Best Character. The range is wide, so one can indeed find something suited for his creative work.

The competition is usually tough, but opportunity to showcase your work and put it in front of the eyes of industry experts can bring benefits outside the award and prizes. More than a thousand entries from almost 60 countries have been submitted in 2016 and represented wide variety of ideas, themes, creativity and technical skills. Individuals who participate immediately are evaluated by get it in front of the eyes of an independent jury, consisting of experts from companies such as Trixter, Mackevision and Neverest. You can check more information on categories and requirements here. Participation is free of charge and, similarly to CGTrader position, openness for both professionals and newcomers.

In addition, all creative minds, VX experts, animation artists, film and media enthusiasts are invited to join the animago AWARD & CONFERENCE, which will also be the event during which the winners will be announced.
