Split your lungs with blood and thunder! The Low Polygon Fantasy Weapon Challenge is over and the winners have come to claim their bloody prize! Who are these master weaponsmiths, who run pixels through the fiery crucible to forge the most epic weapons of conquest? Read on and find out!
Our esteemed colleagues have selected one winner and one runner up for the categories of Best Melee Weapon and Best Ranged Weapon. There's also a winner and a runner-up for the Best Portfolio category. They will be deemed the best at modeling (and uploading) weapons that run at no more than 50,000 polygons.
All of the winners get Texture.com prizes (one year subscription with 500 credits per months for winners, Credit Packs with 500 credits per month for runner ups), VD-3D licenses (PRO for winners, RE for runner-ups), GameTextures.com subscriptions (one year for the first place, 3 moths for the second), Daz3D gift cards ($60 or $30, depending on how hard they won), 1 copy of SILO from Nevercenter and render credits from GarageFarm.NET ($500 for the winners, $250 for the runner-ups). All of the first place winners will additionally get a Cheetah3D license.
