How do you envision future? If there was a chance, would you like to see the world beyond our own? These questions can easily provoke thoughts that are scary and yet greatly intriguing. Well, OK - maybe it's just my nerdy, information-junkie mind, but at least I know I'm not the only one who would just love to take a look at the futuristic worlds that are millions of miles away and out of our reach - well, for now, anyway... What the author said: A 3D matte painting from the “Vortex” concept & screenplay – based on the classical philosophical debate whether technology improves human condition or worsens it, we explore a society which has advanced enough to gain a mastery over the means of travel, communication, medicine, etc. - only to be still ruled by powers bringing a strong social stratification within, resulting into a repressive and controlled dystopian existence.
