Craft A Legend In The Fantasy Weapon Challenge!

Anduril, Frostmournem, Mirkwood bow… these are the names of legendary fantasy weapons that have slain many an enemy. Every great hero has their weapon - Gandalf proves that even mages can be partial to a good sword - and those blades, spears and bows can be as fancy as they come. Here’s your chance to forge your own legendary weapon that will win you treasures and accolades. We are running a Fantasy Weapon Challenge!

There will two categories of entries: Best Melee Weapon and Best Ranged Weapon. Each category will have a winner and a runner There will also be two winners in the Best Portfolio category.

The most important bit is your weapon has to be low-poly (meaning that it totals under 50,000 polygons). It doesn’t if it’s a glaive, bow, crossbow, a guisarme or even an atlatl - as long as it’s fantasy, it counts. Hell, you can even make plasma swords, laser muskets and chain boomerangs. As longs as it’s fantastic, we’re happy to see your works, you fantasy smiths!

The contest will run from today (May 2nd) to July 18th, 2016. Only models uploaded during this time period can apply!

As for prizes, we will give out subscriptions from Textures.com, licenses from VD-3D, licenses from Cheetah3D, subscriptions from GameTextures.com, gift cards from Daz3D, products from Nevercenter and render fees from GarageFarm.
