Of course, you did not expect it to happen. So, roll your sleeves up and get ready for one more challenge we prepared especially for you! But.. Before we need to know one small secret of yours...What was the first video game you have ever played?

I got my first computer as a Christmas present when I was 7 years old. It was Sega Mega Drive II. I will never forget it, because at first my mum asked me to share the expenses for the present. I was looking at her having no clue, what she is talking about. Then she just said - oh, you did not know that Santa Claus is a fairy tale. And I got a computer with a few game cartridges, but she did not take a penny from me. So, my first one was Sonic: The Hedgehog.

These were crazy days, spent in front of the TV, trying to reach higher and higher levels. To be honest, I have never ever accomplished any game from the beginning to the end. After the Sonic, there were several other games in a row I do not even remember a name. Then "The Sims" were released and I found my personal psychosis.

Could you imagine, how many hours and days you actually spend playing only video/computer games? Once I was up to count it, then I was too scared to get the answer. Nevertheless, I personally invite you to play one more time!

As always CGTrader.com makes it easy, almost without any rules. Just keep in mind that we are looking for something different. So, the amount of polygons you can use for your model is restricted. No, do worry low-poly models designed from no more than 10,000 polygons are old-fashioned. We wish you to work on the next generation game-ready models.

Since we are on the verge of ps4 and Xbox One, poly counts have gone up drastically on the characters. So, design an original game-ready model and do not overcome the boundary of 50,000 polygons, upload it and hurray! You are taking your part in a competition and selling your model at the same time. Could it be better?

Nominations

There are two categories of awards in this competition. Each of them will hold one winner and two runners-up. Best 3D Game-Ready Model Portfolio - a designer will be awarded based on all 3D character models uploaded during the challenge period. Best 3D Game-Ready Model - award will be given for the best 3D character model uploaded during the challenge period.
