1,000,000th user has just joined CGTrader!

Less than 13 months ago - May 27th, 2016, we were celebrating a big milestone - 500k users and 500k models on CGTrader. Today, June 23rd, we are excited to announce that the 1,000,000th user has joined CGTrader, and this is mova from the Netherlands.
“Over the past year, we have observed an exponential growth in number of users and their activity on the platform. We believe that this is a result of a combination of factors: hard work of CGTrader team in bringing platform improvements, supporting existing clients and effectively communicating with new customers, valuable partnerships as well as our amazing community sharing their experience and spreading the word about CGTrader further”, comments Dalia Lašaitė, the CEO of CGTrader. Indeed, since last June, CGTrader has introduced a number of interesting improvements for customers and designers alike ranging from easy tutorial uploader for modelers to share their knowledge with the community to buyer loyalty programs to thank those appreciating CGTrader as a place to go for 3D assets.

CGTrader has always been (and always will be) interested in data and the good inferences made out of that helped company to move forward, so in the beginning of 2017 we also created individual analytics dashboards available for those with at least 20 models in the portfolio to help learn and improve together. Generally, the same categories of models remains the most interesting to customers - animal, food and science of high poly, while game creators and VR/AR applications developers crave for good animals, characters and space 3D models.

The beauty of CG industry is its openness, inclusion and global reach, so CGTrader is really happy to welcome designers from 138 countries worldwide, and the ones we have customers in, but no designers - this is the target for the next year. CGTrader has already built a strong name in CG market and has built strong external partnerships. “The integration with Autodesk’s 3ds Max Asset Library has proved that the quality of our services is appreciated by highly professional having industry players having years of experience within the field. We are now working on some more collaborations and hope to bring some more great news to the community shortly”, adds Dalia Lašaitė.
