Please read this text before printing for designs, descriptions, advantages, dimensions, weight, print settings and warnings.

Designs/Descriptions/Advantages

  • These are various stand/rack types to put your test tubes, sphere bottom tubes, vacutainers etc. in your laboratories, health care facilities and anywhere else you want.
  • You save 85 % to more than 95 % depending on your chosen model, local prices of filament and local prices of conventional racks.
    • All models are given in the first photo. As you can see, there are 4 classess with various size options.
    • Skeleton tube racks require an easy assembling procedure. Since structure of the model is light weight, its filament cost is the lowest. There are three sizes with tube capacities of 4x7, 4x10 and 4x14 as rows and columns. You can obtain racks with different heights by printing different length fitting rods. Also, there is a coupling aperture to unite racks. Default size(16 mm) can be used for vacutainers(15 mm). For other size requirements, scaling should be applied. Top matrix, bottom matrix, bottom mat and fittings are four parts to assemble.
    • Inclined tube racks provide ease for locating between different tubes or vacutainers. There is a pocket behind of the rack to put gadgets and consumables. There are three sizes with tube capacities of 5x7, 5x14 and 5x21 as rows and columns. These models don’t require assembling. Default size(16 mm) can be used for vacutainers(15 mm). For other size requirements, scaling can be applied.
    • Cage tube rack/stand models have spacious design to put tubes having regular use and/or spherical bottoms as it can be seen in the photos. It can also be used with straight test tubes. Tubes stand with an inclined orientation in the designs. There are two parts as it can be seen in the photos that can fit into each other. There are three sizes with capacities of 4, 8 and 12 tubes. Default diameter is 40 mm but it can be adjusted with scaling of the model according to your needs.
  • Round tube rack comes with one model to put your straight test tubes and vacutainers. It has 5x7 capacity as rows and columns. It doesn’t need to assemble. Default size(16 mm) can be used for vacutainers(15 mm). For other size requirements, scaling can be applied.

Print Settings

  • You can and should apply scaling for tubes with different dimensions, however, please do not forget to apply same scaling factor to each part in skeleton tube rack and cage tube rack models.
  • Interior brim is not suggested for skeleton tube rack because it takes time to remove them all but exterior brim and high first layer temperature can be helpful if you have adhesion and warping problems.
