The Sinpo-C, also known as Mod-Romeo, is the 'newest' submarine of Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) Navy. 'Newest' since it is a modification of a Romeo-class diesel-electric submarine, acquired from the Soviet Union.

A hull section for the humpback missile bay was added, and the bow cut back, for a minimal increase in length. The missile bay has 4 large tubes, and 6 smaller tubes, suggesting a capacity of up to 4 short range ballistic missiles, and 6 cruise missiles, but exact armanent in unknown at this time. It is also unknown if it retains torpedo tubes, but for this model's purpose, I assume it does, so the bow has 4 tubes, and the two rear tubes are retained. I also assumed the propellors are the same as a Romeo, since the DPRK news station that filmed it blurred that area.

I modified an existing Romeo model to account for the changes seen in the photos. As there is no other information available, I had to work with what I had.

This model was originally a request for a friend, and I decided to provide him with different bows. The main bow is what I think the bow looks like, since it's covered with a flag in the few photos I've found. The other bow piece is Kim Jong Un's head, solely for the hilarity. They both slide in and out nicely, and fit flush with the rest of the hull. The missile bay doors are their own objects, if one should wish to edit them to different positions. The missiles are place holders, and I went with shallow tubes.

It is 3d printable, and I've printed several for friends and coworkers.
