The Venture Star also known as X-33 (although the X-33 was technically a smaller test-model version) was a theoretical concept for an SSTO or single-stage-to-orbit rocket developed by Lockheed-Martin for NASA. The Spaceplane would have been powered by 7 joined linear aerospike engines making it more efficient when transitioning from dense atmosphere to vacuum and would have been fuelled by liquid hydrogen and oxygen. A few components were tested but unfortunately the project was cancelled as it became too complex and the new technologies that would have to be developed were considered too expensive. This model is based on the concept design - the model is full scale but designed to be scaled down and printed in an average 3d-printer
