The **Aggregat **series of missiles developed by Nazi Germany would culminate in the A4 (also known as the V2 - Vengeance Weapon 2) ballistic missile.
An attempted launch of Aggregat 1 was made in 1933, but exploded on the launch pad.
In 1934 an improved, but externally identical version, Aggregat 2 was successfully tested reaching altitudes of 1.4 and 2.2 miles, respectively.
The **Aggregat 3 **Missile was developed over the years 1935 to 1937. The most succesful flight reached 7 miles altitude.
The Aggregat 5 missile was actually developed before the A4, over the period 1938-1942. It was much smaller and had a slightly 'dumpy' shape compared to the A4/V2.
The Aggregat 4 or V2 was produced between 1942, and 1945, using slave labour. Thousands of A4 missiles were launched against the UK, Belgium and other parts of Allied-occupied Europe.During the war the greatest altitude reached by an A4 was 11 miles. Captured A4 rockets were used to kick start the American space programme.
The Aggregat A4b missile was a winged development of the A4/V2 ballistic missile was developed in 1944. The first launch was a failure. The second launch also failed when a wing broke off, but the missile still became the first winged missile to reach a speed of over Mach 4.
These models are at a uniform 1:72 scale. STLs are optimised for resin printing. Versions with and without support are included.
