1/1800th scale Iwo Jima Class Amphibious Assult Ship model. Certain elements not to scale.

The Iwo Jima class were a series of seven helicopter carriers built for the US Navy not long after WWII. They were the first purpose built helicopter carriers, being preceeded only by a few converted Essex-class carriers. They carried up to twenty helicopters and a collection of antiaircraft armament.

This is part of my collection of Cold War warships, keep an eye out for more to come.

Tested with PLA at .08mm layer height with .4mm nozzle.
