1/1800th scale Iowa Class Battleship model. Certain elements not to scale.
The Iowa class of battleships were the final class of battleships built for the US Navy. As they were no longer bound by the Washington Naval Treaty, the designers were able to make it longer, heavier and carry more armament. All Iowa-class battleships survive as museum ships, though none of them are in their WWII configuration since they were refit at various times after the war. Their main armament were nine sixteen-inch fifty caliber guns. They also carried twenty five-inch guns along with nearly one hundred and thirty 40mm and 20mm antiaircraft guns.
This is part of my collection of WWII warships, keep an eye out for more to come. If you have a specific request, message me and I'll bump it up my list.
