Description

High detailed scale model of Uboat type 2b.

units in mm. 1.4 meters or 58 inches in length

large scale model

total 60 parts

Main body hollow inside , 3mm screw holes inner wall to fit

alternate hull with deck separate from top added

thin parts like gaurd rails and poles , periscope.

front and back fins have 2mm holes to fit

(( RC version added as Rcversion.zip file

It contains hull parts with all slots open, dive fins and hull have 3mm holes for fittings

You wuill still need to download the first uboat,zip file to get the coning tower and upper body parts ))

More fixes to RC version all front slots now open, anchor added, in waterline cut horizontal fittings for 2mm screw added
*RC version part Hull21 and Altcut16 fixed with anchor well *

hollow coning tower added

Accordingly with you statement for a 1.4 meters long final print it appears to be a 1/30.5 scale model, or is the final length wrong?

No , this is correct. length is 1.4 meter. and scale is 1/30 . I think 1/72 scale is the lowest size you can print before the walls in the hollow and RC version start to break

It is obvious that a lot of work has gone into making this model, both initially and in the subsequent cuts. The level of detail is good on what looks to be a very accurate copy of the original.
