The Merlin 1D is the current and most likely final version of the Merlin rocket engine family developed by Space-X for their Falcon rockets, both the Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy and currently used in the Falcon 9 Block 5 together with the vacuum optimized version. The engine runs on RP-1 LOX (rocket grade kerosene and liquid oxygen) fed at cryogenic temperatures. It has a specific impulse of 282 seconds at sea level or 311 seconds in vacuum (348 seconds for the vacuum optimzied version) and a thrust of p to 914kN It's nozzle bell has a bottom diameter of 1250mm and it is obviously relightable as it is used in the reusable Falcon 9 rocket performing powered landings. The model is full scale and contains all major features while the ones too fine to print in a desk model have been left out. It can be easily printed wen scaled down by a factor of about 1/10 making the overall engine 270mm high. It can be used as a desk model or lamp itself or as a part for larger scale rocket models.
