We recommend 0.03mm layer thickness. The model has been testprinted successfully using the following resins for low warp, high strength and super detail:

  • 30% Anycubic UV Tough + 70% Anycubic ABS-like resin plus gray

IMPORTANT GENERAL NOTE TO AVIOD WARPING / SCEWING:

  • WASHING: Wash all items clean from resin preferrably in a washing mashine 6-8 minutes (Anycubic Wash & Cure 2.0)
  • POST CURING: Leave all items to dry after wash properly. Preferrably over-night / 24h. All sides, including inside surfaces, MUST be exposed to the UV-light. Recommended time: 4 minutes.
  • Paint the details immidiatly after post-curing using a primer. We recommend TAMAIYA Surface Primer Fine Gray.

A nice dtailed and functional model. There is onlay one issue: It's to short! You have to add 17% on x axis Multiply by 1.17

Impressed with the level of detail for the price. Just put it into the slicer, slice and print. No hassle with supports whatsoever as its pre supported. I like the support placement. Easy to remove.

Nice model. But it's to short. To match the prototype you have to add 17% on x axis only to upper and lower body.. Multiply by 1.17. Using standard Märklin AC wheelsets, the bogie has to be extended by 1.12 in z axis
