Peterbilt 389 - detailed scale model kit

Peterbilt 389 - detailed scale model kit 3D print model

Description

I really enjoyed designing and printing this model. It's in scale 1:14, it's quite big (~60cm in length) and heavy (2,7kg). Model is assembled of more than 200 parts. Every single part is prepared to be printed with FDM 3D printer.

Minimum recommended print bed size is 160x220mm, height 150mm. To achieve best details, print big parts with 0.4mm nozzle and 0.1-0.16mm layer height. Small parts with 0.3mm nozzle and 0.1mm layer height, or with SLA/DLP 3D printer (best choice).

I've been working hard on this model for about 4 months. Designing it from scratch. I'll be happy if you buy this model and support me, so I can create another kits. Please do not share the files with other people

To assemble this model you will need printed parts, superglue, 3x1mm neodymium magnets, 3mm skewers, patience and precision. Always double check printed parts if they fit together before gluing them. Model includes fitting tolerances and has been printed and assembled with several different printers. If parts don't fit well, double check your printer calibration please. Perfectly calibrated X, Y, Z dimensions, extruder and good quality filament are a must have.

This is looking like an awesome model of the Peterbilt 389! Very detailed. All I would like to see added is a cover for the headlights thin to go over the bezel that I could print in clear resin? Please Highly recommended. Pete
