1:16 scale model kit of old jet fighter. It is quite big (630x640x230mm) and can be turned into beautiful model with good postprocessing and painting. It has been designed to be printed with FDM printers - parts are ready to slice and require minimum supports. Every part fits 180x180x200mm build volume. Around 1400grams of filament is required. Assembly pictures are included.
3D PRINTING SETTINGS I've printed big parts with 0.4mm nozzle and 0.15 layer height. Smaller parts with 0.3-0.35mm nozzle and 0.08-0.1mm layer height. STLs are ready to slice (orinetation) and supports are required only on few parts. Infill can be set to 5-15%
Model includes fitting tolerances and has been printed and assembled with several different printers. If parts don't fit well, double check your printer calibration please. Perfectly calibrated X, Y, Z dimensions, extruder and good quality filament are a must have. I recommend calibrating X and X with 100mm (or bigger) square, Z with at least 10mm height. Even a little overextrusion or first layer elephant foot can cause problems fitting parts together. I recommend 0.4mm nozzle and 0.15-0.2 layer height for big parts, 0.3mm nozzle and 0.1mm layer height for small parts.
