M577 APC USCM Armored Personnel Carrier

M577 APC USCM Armored Personnel Carrier 3D print model

Description

M577 Armored Personnel Carrier is the thrustworth transporty vehicle of the Colonial Marines. It has enough firepower to fry half of a city and yet a small profile of a pushpack car of an aircraft :)

I didn't had enough time to make a proper build guide but the pieces will fall into their places if you just check them and take a look into pictures.

Main body consists of the Bottom, Left Rear, Left Right, Top Forward and Top Rear Pieces.

It has the detailed interior seats, computers, functional door that can open and close, a driver door that has hinges if you print a very large model. (Screw hinges and just glue it if you print a small one) It's wheel structeres designed to easily move the vehicle. Its forward turret can also rotate and its main turret can rotate and can move to the aft of the vehicle to decrease the profile of it while entering tight spaces. It has a gun cabinet for M41 Pulse Rifles (not included) and 2 stands for M56 Smart Guns (again not included)

Its forwards turret carries 2x RE700 gatling cannons that can shred aliens in pieces. It has 3 different options for tha main turret: -Independently Targetting 2x Particle Beam Phalanx -Boyars PARS-150 2x Phased Plasma Cannon -2x M2025 Free Electron Lasers, a viable option for air defense. The APC also includes DSGR smart missiles on its roof, they are connected to rotatable pieces and I advice small 2x1 mm magnets to hold them on their places. There are also some other holes for 9x3 mm magnets on detachable roof and on turret parts

Test print done with a Resin Printer, I have scaled the basic STL parts by %1059,68 for a 20 cm long model that looks good with minifigures. Its a hard model, but a must have for the fans of Aliens.
