DESCRIPTION

The HMEE is an armoured backhoe loader, originally engineered and built for the US Army and NATO aligned forces. Since its roll out, it has proven itself across a multitude of uses during operations around the world. Fast and mobile, the HMEE provides high levels of protection as well as performance. It is also capable of towing heavy loads and has good off-road mobility. In service with the militaries of New Zealand, Australia, Denmark, Britain, Israel, Ireland, Spain, Sweden, and USA.

Where possible, the model has been designed from manuals, and from detailed walkaround photos. I have been as accurate as I can be, I have also made design decisions to thicken up some components for durability when printing.

I’ve supplied two base versions, one with solid windows, one with the window openings shelled out with a small lip inside the frame. Of those two models, they both have the stowage within the bucket, and the bucket open with no stowage. Finally, the two versions with variants are provided in “chunky” and fine detail. The chunky model is thickened for printing at small scales. The base 1:10 scale prints can be scaled down at whatever size you choose.

Test printed successfully in resin (anycubic photon mono, grey standard) at 1:72 and 1:100 scale. You will need to design your own supports to suit your printer at other scales, or for the unsupported versions.
