GT V2 Compressed Air Engine working model

GT V2 Compressed Air Engine working model 3D print model

Description

DISCLAIMER: This is not an easy print however if you have the knowledge than you will greatly enjoy it! This makes a great teaching toy or desk accesory. Plus, IT ACTUALLY WORKS! All 3d print files are included and you will need to purchase some extra accesories before this engine will be operational. you will need to purchase roughly 30, 1/4-20 bolts, doesnt matter what kind of head, preferably button head. You will also need to purchase a package of bearings, size 1-1/8 OD, 1/2 ID, 5/16 thick. also recomended - sandpaper and some form of 3d print friendly lubricant. you can also purchase thin rubber sheets and create seal plates if you want a better working engine. you will also want 2 1.5in long 1/4-20 bolts with nuts to assemble the propellor

Hi! I just bought this incredible model. In which material do you recommend it to be printed? Also which infill for each part? Thank you!

Hello there! I'd recommend you print out all of the parts in PLA. 20% infill is probably the lowest I would go... any more and u start compromising the air tightness of the parts. Hope this helps!

sorry for the delay, the proper length would be 1 in for the bolts. I also use sandpaper to get a good fit on the piston in the cylinder, id recommend using very fine grit sandpaper.
