Description

The V1, also known as the Buzz Bomb or Doodlebug, was a German cruise missile used in World War II. It was the first operational cruise missile in the world.

A small, pilotless, winged bomb, powered by a pulsejet engine that was very noisy. Had a range of about 150 miles and carried a one-ton warhead .

Launched from bases in northern France, the Netherlands, and western Germany, the Nazi Propaganda Ministry called it Vergeltungswaffe Eins (Vengeance Weapon 1) .

The original Air Ministry designation was Fi 103, after its airframe designer, the Fieseler company From June 1944 to March 1945, more than 20,000 were launched at British and continental targets.

This missle is supplied at 1:72 scale as an STL suitable for resin printing, with and without supports. A German-style missile stand is included. As a bonus a 1:32 version in two parts is also supplied; this is not as accurate and you may wish to scale up the 1:72 version instead.
