Update 2024-10-28
- I added a Cut version of the Frame (V2 A+B), even those they are on one picture they are in two files.
- I Added a Spare Handwheel in case that they Brake off
- Later Today or on the 29th i will upload Pictures of the completely 3D Printed version! The prints are currently drying and need to be hardned in UV light before i could take pictures.
Initial Upload 2024-10-27
- V1 is the baseline I uploaded on October 27th. Parts in a rust brown of the overview picturesI didn’t print it because someone asked me for the change to 1/32 scale with the below mentioned Bogies/ Coupling
For my Model railroad in H0 scale I started to design the FAMMRR121 from KirunaWagon, as well known as Helix Dumper, they are designed for continuous unloading by driving through a helix (will be uploaded as separate Model).ball bearing pin needs to be secured with a drop of glue.Between the Pan and the Ballbearing there is a spacer to be placed! The 3D printed Bogie has a small cutout above the axle for adding OilImportant!several changes were made to adjust the Model for Model trains
- Coupling changed for the Bogies chosen
- model is a bit wider for stability and added the parts for the helix (it will need a guide to prevent the wagon from tipping while unloading)
- I didn’t build this wagon, so I could not say if there are any clashes with the Bogie !
- The holes for the Kadee Coupling have to be bored! If someone could give me the distance for the holes I will update the 3D Modelyou will need a) Buy Bogie Version:
- 2 Bogies, Bettendorf type, 23mm over rail + 5mm Ball bearing (14mm AD), Wheelbase 56mm
- 2x Screws min M3, thread 6mm longer than the Bogie with the Ball Bearing. For diametes larger than M3 you have to Drill the hole larger, currently only 2.5mm for centering the position
b) print Bogie version
- 2 pieces 4mm Wire for the springs
- 4 Springs for the Coupler centering
- 2 Couplers
- 4 Axles 29mm Wheel, Axle diameter 3mm and axle length 70mm (i.e. Kadee 960 axle)all versions)
- Small Ball bearing (AD 16mm / ID 8mm / width 5mm)
- 4 small pieces of 4mm wire for the hinge of the pan
- Kadee 821 coupling
- 2x Screw, for installing of the Coupling probably M3, but you have to check that yourself
For printing:
- 1x Pan_KirunaWagon_HD
- 1x Ballbearing_pin_KirunaWagon_HD
- 1x Ballbearing_pin-spacer_KirunaWagon_HD
- 1x Frame_KirunaWagon_HD
for the 3d printed Bogie version additional:
- 2x Bogie
- 1x BogieStep (to be glued on the part where the Griprail is)
for a STANDING Model you could print:-4x Axle-Standing-Model
