Wow I would love to try this but im new to printing. I got some figurines working well. The smaller model is strong enough to hold together? Is it meant for filament printing? I see references to resin. Don't want to buy if it will not work on my ender pro v3 s1. Are there recommended general settings? Sorry. I have too many questions.

this is a difficult model, you should try other similar test models before trying this. This is not a figurine , the details are on top and bottom . it will hold together if you know how to glue them , t can be printer in filament printer , the smaller model is 60 cm in length cut into about 40 parts. no there are no general recommended settings

Ok. Im not sure i know where to find similar test models. I tried last year to shrink an enterprise d from some other site out there. And it sort of worked but it was one solid piece. I would submit a picture if i could.. it's silk gold and about the size of a chapstick. The nacelles broke off during extraction of support. Clearly not designed to be this small. Lol. And yeah the details on top and bottom made me want to abandon filaments altogether. So bad. So I assume all the sweet models you have are in the same category of needing to be much more advanced to printing? Also.. thanks for your prompt reply!

The smaller version is 60 cm for a reason. No shrinking, the wings that hold the nacelle will be too thin . the body line details will not print well

They must use an obfuscator, when you zoom in there is lots randomness. Probably about 100x more triangles than needed. Made it difficult put in holes for lighting. Multiple pieces wouldn't lay flat in the slicer had move them down into the bed .1 or .2 mm to print correctly. Struggled with gluing with inconsistent gaps in multiple pieces. I printed in high detail with a .2 nozzle on a top of the line well calibrated printer.

I purchased your STL and I have printed and built it. Very precised and amazing accuracy. Thank you

Although I agree it does indeed look great, there are no assembly instructions for the model so it a very figure it out on youur own
