Colonial Viper Scale model 3D print model

Very good model. I reduced the scale to 1/72 so that it matches my other Vipers. I found the wings difficult to print but eventually got there. My only criticism is that there is no detail in the three engine intakes, but then by the time it’s painted black it won’t be a problem. A version with landing gear would be nice.

I am a bit on the fence about this model. It looks great, but I should mention a couple of things. One: The Stabilizing Fin on top. There is no slot where to put it. this will need to be glued to the top and since there is minimal surface area, anything can break it. The same thing applies to the wing. there are no slots to insert them into, so glue will be needed. Even CA glue might be hard-pressed to keep them from falling or breaking due to the position and little holding surface area. If you are planning on printing the Canopy, you may have issues due to the way it is positioned and how thin the walls are. Be aware. I will make some changes to the STLs to allow for slots for the Fin and the wings and the canopy. that should make the model more stable. Other than that, the details are really good on this model.
