Intended for 3d print.
Three variants of the same generic car model - hardtop, convertible, and convertible with Pontiac firebird-style hood painting.(For the record, the painting on the model is the heraldry of the Swedish province of Västergötland. Raggare, bäjby. )
These cars were originally designed as decoration for a Simcity 2000 buildings project. Meaning they were originally intended to be printed at a tiny sub-6mm scale. The versions included in this release have been updated with more detail, but they are still fairly low-resolution models. Recommended scale is between 6mm and 28mm scale, with the sweet spot probably somewhere around 15-20mm.
The good news is the models are also fairly robust, and can be sliced at small scales without losing structural integrity. See the two examples included in the image gallery. The models are printed one-piece, with no post-print assembly required. So they are likely fairly suitable as toys for kids. But use your own discretion.
Some assets, like the tires and seats, have been taken from earlier models. Which is why the cars have tractor wheels, in case you're wondering.
To my knowledge, the cars are not intended to resemble any particular real-life car. When designing the models, I used a simple drawing I found on Linearity. See link below.
